The Best Health Insurance in Spokane!

Wednesday, January 27th, 2010

Just the other day I got a message from another dear friend who just found out she has breast cancer. Her days are now consumed with doctor appointments, family consultations, and health insurance forms. She is afraid, and she knows that this is a big mountain she is facing. It happens every day all over Spokane. Knowing how this will affect her life, her family, and her spirits, my heart is breaking for her. We all either know someone, or have been, ourselves, in a similar situation. Her message was a wake-up call, and it really shook me up.

This was a staunch reminder to me that I should never, ever, EVER take for granted the good health that I have so blissfully enjoyed thus far.

A healthy, able body is a gift, a blessing, to be cherished and appreciated. We all know that we need to eat well and exercise because of the health benefits, because we want to look good, because we want to feel good. It’s the best public option ever, the answer to health care reform. And it’s nice to be able to go out on the town, wear your “skinny” jeans, and not worry about the jiggle in the middle or the wiggle in your butt. But have you ever thought about what life could be like if you were suddenly robbed of your health?

Spokane Health Insurance

We’ve all used the excuse “I just don’t have time” to exercise…but what if we, instead, were forced to make time for life-saving doctor appointments, chemotherapy or kidney dialysis? What if our time was spent on the phone, arguing with health insurance companies, requesting that they pay? Would we have time for that?

In Spokane alone there are so many people facing tough situations and medical conditions. Heart disease, diabetes, and a million other things can try to steal the life from your body. And yet so many of us continue to place our personal health and fitness near the bottom on our list of our priorities. Work, family, school…these things can consume us! So when it comes to fitness, it’s so easy for us to fall into the complacency trap. Have you ever heard the old saying “an ounce of prevention is worth a pound of cure?”

There are some things we cannot prevent. But there are many more things that we can! Making the time for your personal fitness and appreciating the health and ability that you have is one of the best health insurance plans you can ask for.  It’s true, that we have a responsibility, but more than that…we have an opportunity to care for our bodies.

Making the most of that opportunity begins with becoming stronger. The good news is that fitness and exercise does not have to consume every minute of your free time. Even just 30-45 minutes two or three times a week working with Zach Hunt at Physzique in Liberty Lake will quickly make a noticeable difference in your health and strength. You will immediately begin to build muscle. Your posture, lung-capacity, heart, even your skin-tone will improve. Exercise improves your mood, your confidence, and your sex-life. Your weight goes down, and your energy levels will increase. You will find that you sleep better. So while the world debates health care reform, don’t wait.  Make your own health insurance.  Choose to proactively take responsibility for the quality of your life, take the opportunity to boost your health, and call Zach.
