Are you holding yourself accountable?
Well that’s kinda hard. Cause you can justify / reason away any action
you take on your own, because you do them yourself!
And who wants to contradict themselves?
In a study of beginning exercisers when people were held accountable
they were 20 times more likely to stick with their fitness plan 6
months down the road.
That’s why I’m excited to announce my new Physzique Transform Groups http://www.spokanefitnesscoach.com

Often all people need to stick with their fitness plan is just social
support / accountability from friends and like minded individuals.
And while family can be a great support, I often hear from my clients
that they prefer their family members not to remind / nag them when they aren’t on track (especially a husband & wife holding each other accountable).
If you do nothing else but get a support system in place that can be
just what you need to have the discipline to stick with fitness
for more than 1 week at a time.

I just wanted to let you know about a new revolution in the fitness
industry. A hot new product just came out, go ahead and check it
out right here: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=E9_amg-Aos4
I tell you I sure am excited!!
Okay, now to be serious. You may remember me talking about the
Japanese fitness rings a while back, this one fits right in with
those.
While it’s fun to watch this device for entertainment. I don’t recommend you actually use it.
The point for today is you don’t need any fancy gadgets or even any
equipment to get in great shape.
All you need is your body - the best equipment you’ll ever have. While
I agree it is nice to have equipment to make exercise easier and
sometimes more effective, you can still get started with just your body.
In other words, don’t use a lack of equipment as an excuse to get
started with your fitness program.
Just get to it!

There was a recent report on ABC news about how people grossly
overestimate how many calories they burn. This is also true for
people underestimating how many calories they eat.
Let’s See…
Less calories burned from exercise
+ More calories from food

More calories that stay with you (around your body)
A quick example, this month being National Oatmeal Month, let’s use
that. When most people eat oatmeal they have a nice generous bowl,
which can add up to 400-500+ calories if you not watching.
Then add, orange juice, toast and butter and you’re nearly at 1,000.
Even if you measure out the oatmeal your likely to make a mistake.
1 serving size is 150 calories 1/2 cup. Most people I know scoop out
a heaping size which is actually nearly 1.5 times the serving size.
Even if you level out the cup to perfectly even that is still about
1.15 times the serving. You have to be about .5 inches below the actual
serving cup line.
Peanut butter is another example. I won’t even get into that one, 1
serving size is about 180 calories, you can…
