Is Snap Fitness Spokane the right option?

Monday, July 20th, 2009

Want to get in shape? Looking around for the right place and the right help to do so? What should you look for in a fitness center? Is Snap Fitness Spokane the right option, or is there somewhere else for Spokane fitness?

1-Is the place clean and the equipment well maintained?

There are a lot of bodies pumping out sweat at fitness centers. You want to be sure that the center cleans their equipment. They should also maintain their equipment well so that it is ready when you want to use it, and won’t come apart at a wrong moment. It shows they care about your experience. Besides, a clean setting is an inspiring one that you’ll want to keep coming back to. Is Snap Fitness Spokane the right option, or not?

2-Is there enough equipment so that you can work all your muscle groups and not have to wait in line to do so?

Time is a premium. You probably have to squeeze a workout into your busy schedule as it is, so you want to be able to use each minute to the fullest and get in a complete workout in the allotted time. There should be:

  • Free weights
  • Targeted muscle group machines
  • Aerobic machines
  • Open space for aerobics and stretching
  • Is Snap Fitness Spokane the right option, or not?

3-Is the staff friendly, helpful, knowledgeable, and available?

You’re not going to want to keep going unless you are greeted and treated in a welcoming, friendly way. If you have questions about equipment or exercise, you shouldn’t feel like you are interrupting their other work or their chat with a co-worker. And you should be given good, useful information. Is Snap Fitness Spokane the right option, or not?

4-Is it clear what the program will cost?

You want to understand clearly what you are paying for and what you are not paying for. Ideally, the plans are simple and inclusive, so you don’t incur extra fees for every little thing. You should also understand the contract before you sign. Make sure you understand how to get out of it if and when you want to and what all the costs might be. Is Snap Fitness Spokane the right option, or not?

5- Is there a good personal trainer?

Your personal coach should be attentive, encouraging, guiding, supportive, and willing to accommodate your schedule, your particular goals, and your limitations. He or she should also be certified by a national group such as the American Council on Exercise (ACE), the National Academy of Sports Medicine (NASM), or American Fitness Professionals and Associates (AFPA). He or she should talk you through your program and monitor results. There should also be some guarantee that if you are not satisfied, you don’t pay.

Get in Shape for Spokane Fishing – Try Physzique!

Thursday, July 2nd, 2009

You’re a sportsman.

You tromp through the woods to get to the mountain lakes and then along the primitive shores to find the right spot. Or wade out in thigh-high, cool stream water with your fly rod. Or balance in the bow of the boat so you can cast for bass just so.

You’re doing some Spokane area fishing, and there is nothing like it. With dozens of lakes and streams within a few hours’ drive, Spokane’s got just what you’re looking for.

Being in shape to fish is important.

But, if you aren’t in shape, you’ll feel it big time tomorrow. Or worse, you could slip, fall, or over-exert and get in some real trouble. Getting in shape—

·         increases your stamina and strength,

·         improves your balance,

·         adapts your body to exertion in the heat by improving temperature regulation,

·         decreases soreness and stiffness after an outing, and

·         helps prevent injuries from the outdoor activities, like Spokane fishing, that you so enjoy.

Physique, a Spokane-area fitness center, can get you there!

The human body is made for physical activity–work and mobility. Muscle accounts for over half our body weight and we are essentially the same creatures as roamed the savannahs or lived in caves 10,000 years ago—hunting and fishing for survival and being physically active every day. But now many of us live static lives at desks and computers, or do repetitive work without using the full range of muscles, and the body loses tone, endurance, and general ability.  So, make sure you are fit for Spokane fishing by getting in shape at Physzique.

Get in shape for Spokane Fishing!

Fishing itself probably isn’t aerobic enough to be considered a good cardio-vascular workout. But yes, you’re burning calories and using muscles fighting the current, climbing over rocks and logs, walking for miles, casting all day, or struggling with and reeling in the big ones. That’s why you feel it afterwards. And that’s why it’s important to get in shape at the fitness center before you go out, and stay in shape by continuing to work out, so you can enjoy Spokane fishing more, enjoy it longer, and enjoy it day after day!

Physzique offers affordable, guaranteed personal fitness training that helps you lose body fat, reduce stress and anxiety (like fishing!), feel better physically and mentally (like fishing!), and have fun doing it (like fishing!).

Zach Hunt, Spokane fitness coach, gives you personal attention and guidance to help you achieve your weight and fitness goals through a comprehensive program. Contact Physzique today so you can get started getting in great shape so you can enjoy more Spokane fishing this summer!

Is A Liberty Lake Athletic Club Right For Me?

The Problem

Being an obese woman, I have tried many fad diets. I’ve had minimal success, and maximum failure. I decided once and for all to heed the advice of every doctor I have ever talked to; Eat right and move more. For about 1 year, I got the eating right thing under control. I needed help in the “move more” category, though. Obviously I am not the best self motivator… being fat is the key proof of that. I found an athletic club in Liberty Lake called Physzique, home to a trainer named Zach Hunt, which kicked my butt in gear. The best part about it is that he doesn’t use crazy machines, or fad equipment… he helps me utilize my own body to move more. Whether it be stepping on wooden crates, or walking on my hands and feet across the floor, I feel like I am getting a great core workout in using the old school way of doing things. Myself.

The Solution

obese Getting in shape is helping influence all other aspects of my life, too. I drive quite a way to get to this Liberty Lake athletic club, and the old me would have justified getting a burger to “tide me over” on the way home. When I work out with Zach, I feel good about the progress I have made, and I don’t want to sabatoge that progress on the way home, or even the rest of the week. I feel more confident about myself, not just because I am losing weight, but because after a workout, I feel strong! The workouts are NOT fun. They are not “sweating to the oldies” by any means. They are gruelling. But when I am done, I feel on top of the world. I feel like I kicked butt and I can do anything! Zach has a gentle way about him, but doesn’t let me get away with anything, either!

Where to go now

If you are looking for an athletic club in the Spokane area, or Liberty Lake, I highly suggest you contact Zach Hunt at Physzique. The workout facilities are private, and his help, attitude and knowledge are amazing. I am sick of living my life behind this shell of a woman that I know I am not. Zach knows and understands how I feel. Last week, I lost 5 pounds with Zach’s help, and I can’t wait to see how I’ve done this week! And better than that, I feel awesome!
